Search for Scholarships Positions for three (3) students, the proposed yeast by the EU-funded work - a development laboratory for the study of nucleo-mitochondrial interactions on the co-evolution of energy study nuclear encoded mitochondrial gene expression factors and the mitochondrial genome in different yeast species The analysis of the mechanisms of mitochondrial RNA processing of yeast and propose models for human mitochondrial diseases.
Stock Exchange: 3000 PLN / month + benefits (pension and health systems)
Search for Scholarships Applicants must:
- Be a Master of Science (or equivalent) in biology, biotechnology or a related field
- Write a cover letter, curriculum vitae (with list of publications, if applicable), a copy of the last complete study (average score) and a reference letter.
- Successful candidates must be registered in a graduate program when they start the project. Applicants for launch in October will have the opportunity, enrolled in a doctoral program at the Faculty of Biology.
Previous experience with the genetics of yeasts and / or RNA techniques will also be appreciated
All Search for Scholarships candidates must have a good knowledge of English. Speak Polish is not required.
Post-docs and Ph.D. students should be prepared to accept some teaching responsibilities (in Polish or English).
